Hey there. Looking pretty heavily at Magnum LTD - had a great conversation with Tony about getting hired on as a new CDL driver after acquiring the CDL. Looking for testaments from experienced drivers for Magnum - what can I expect? Do you enjoy working for Magnum and feel valued? Do your requests for home time get honored? I know that the fleet is fully equipped with APUs and inverters which is a huge plus for me. Any advice I can get would be appreciated!
Thanks guys. -
As a former Magnum driver, I’d say there are far far worse companies to start with. I’d also suggest that you try and read the majority of this thread and see for yourself. Most any topic has been covered in here! Good luck wherever you end up!Nateman482 Thanks this.

If you can start with Magnum. You're doing real good. Much better off than any mega.
Home time is definitely honored.
I'd say go for it.
I just became an ex driver. But I'm going for the gold. Oil Field driving. Experience a must.Nateman482 Thanks this. -
I appreciate the advice WesternPlains. I hope you are enjoying your new adventure! Reading through the small amount of this thread I've been able to get through, it seems like Magnum is a very above-average company to start out with. I'm gonna be going to Alexandria Technical College to get my CDL, and Tony said I have a job when I'm done. I'm so friggin excited I can't handle the anticipation.
Any other stories or advice are welcome!! Thanks everyone!!WesternPlains Thanks this. -
Magnum is a great starter in my opinion. You can probably find equal or better with a heavy investment in searching and sending in a lot of applications. So many trucking companies out there. However, in the big picture, Magnum is solid. If their trucks ran 70, I'd say you couldn't find better starter lol.
Nateman482 Thanks this.
