I just bought a 2000 (freightliner) century autoshift and there is nothing labeled "differential lock" on the dashboard. How is the other drive axle engaged/disengaged on this truck? The transmission is a 10-speed eaton fuller autoshift. Thanks.
How do I engage "differential lock" on a 2000 century autoshift?

Looking at an on-line manual, it states to engage the switch that is mounted on the dash. The figure shows that the switch is just to the left of the tractor/trailer valves and is the very top switch.

Thanks AKN Freightliner. That link you gave me is the best. I'm now able to figure out all the of the buttons and switches on the truck's dashboard.
I'm realizing this truck comes equiped with automatic traction control and the other differential is automatically engaged as soon as the traction control system senses a wheel spin. That's why there's nothing on the dashboard to manually engage the other drive axle. Thanks for the link. -
It sounds like you got an old USX truck. I know theres were like that. Glad you figured it out though.
