In their advertisement, they use the words "you can own your own lucrative trucking business". LUCRATIVE is the word that kills me, given that it means overflowing with wealth.

The fact is, that even at GOOD miles, like 5000-6000 per week, you'll still make about 2/3 of what you'd make as a company driver in another company.

england makes alot of promises but if its not in writing they wont do crap like i said before there should be ethical value towards there driver instead of having such a high turn over rate and a bunch of pissed off drivers that hate the way they have been treated by them

There's a HUGE communication gap between people with experience in the way they treat people, and a bunch of new drivers/students who get trapped by their advertising.

I'll bet Chester R. England is rolling over in his grave, because I'm sure he didn't intend his company to treat people like this when he established the company in 1924.

And yes, Chester was a common name, back in the day...he started his business in 1924 when he was already grown up and a family man, so he was likely born around the turn of the century.

The women in day were named Mildred, Gertrude, etc...instead of Dakota, Cheyenne, or whatever...

That's what I meant about him rolling over in his grave...because people didn't treat people like that in his day.
