I'm gonna have to get something different than my Carhartts. I have the Arctic Wear. Or they changed the name. Think it's Extreme Wear now. They're cordura nylon. That just melts in fire.

I’m not gonna be any help on that. I got a pair of boots I bought at Wal Mart 2 years ago and baffins this winter. I’ve heard Muck, Red Wing, Ariat and everything in between.

I'll have to ask them and think for myself. There are those slip on giloshes type steel toes. Put them over a boot. Might work with my 1200 grm insulated in winter?
For some reason. Irish Setters really work for me. Otherwise the 1200 grm insulated are Cabelas White Tail boots. They work good. -
This is what I use: Keen Men's Logandale 6" Waterproof Work Boots - Steel Toe | Boot Barn
But they were only $90 when I was in the store. I don't even have to put them on the boot dryer anymoreTadakatsu Thanks this. -

Also one big thing. I bought a pair of do it yourself custom orthotics. They're actually just a custom fit to your foot. I wear those in my Irish Setters. Keens might work good with my custom orthotics. Those things don't cost much. Just boil them. Then fit them to your foot. Works really good. Works without pulling the existing foot bed in the boot. -
Whenever my feet start bothering me. I wear my Five Fingers. They straighten out. Love my Five Fingers. But can't work in them.

I think my next pair of whatever is gonna be a pull on boot.
WesternPlains Thanks this. -
