i cannot say about THAT company, but only that i personally have done MANY dedicated accounts, at a few companies, and I LOVED the salary over hourly pay or miles..

but be FOREWARNED, that dedicated accounts are for say 3 to 5 years at a time, usually.

come contract time, the customer is free to put the contract up for bids..

anyone so much as a dollar lower might get the contract.

anyone with so much as $10.00 might get the contract.

if you get ANY dedicatred jhob, anyplace, if you have morons working there, and contract time comes.....

it's a 50/50 chance if you got a job or not..

sometimes too however, the new company hires the old help, but here too.....at what rate?

don't like the new pay rate/benefits, etc.>??

they tell you..."don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out"..

been there, done that.....

 

like i said, I LOVED DEDICATED...the home time, was all weekends, and ALL holidays, but we worked ALL hoiliday eve's, but heck, i was still home long before the kids woke up to see what Santa had brought them...

i say, give it a shot.....

 

Cypress hauls the same stuff we do, haven't come across an unhappy driver of theirs yet and I try to recruit pretty hard for my co lol.
