In out of GA and some don't do business out of GA. I'm thinking this should cost about $300 a month. I've heard some outrageous quotes already and some places haven't called me back.
Idk what's the deal.
Who should I look into for physical damage and bobtail insurance?

Do any of you have any extra coverages like for tows if your broke down or truck rental etc? Has it worked out before?
The way I see it is you state the insured amount you want to do for your equipment. Many insurance companies will say for example they charge $3.10 per $1000 of insured value.
So if you want to lower your value by $1,000, your payment will be $3.10 less.
You probably don't want to skimp out and try to save $20 by insuring your truck for less then it's worth. Because in a total loss situation you won't get that money back. Say your truck is worth $30,000 @ 3.10 per 1,000= $93.
You state $15,000. So = $46.5
You have a total loss, you lose.
I think it is weird how physical damage is a voluntary insurance. So in a bad event, you don't have it, you won't have any money to cover your truck and or trailer.
