I'm driving 05 Peterbilt 379exhd that has CAT C15 bxs with a delete wastegate. On a usual basis turbos would boost all the way to 48 psi. Yesturday, I noticed the turbo isnt boosting than it supposed to and climbs up the hill slower, even with an empty trailer. It only boost up to 29 psi around 1200-1600 rpms. 1600 and higher, just spits 35 psi. Could this be a turbo or other air components such as intake, CAC, or exhaust manifold?

What do you mean waste gate delete ? One of the turbos failed. Or you just have a boost leak. Turbo boot or cac or clamp.Oxbow, Cam Roberts and stillwurkin Thank this.

More than likely one of your valve actuators is bad, it limits the turbo pressure as a safety feature to keep from doing damage. Those motors have a reputation for actuator problems, sometimes it's just the wiring going to it also.
russtrucker Thanks this. -
As I gave few more days, turns out cylinder #6 exhaust manifold gasket is leaking.
