Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Are you sure?
Is that a fact or a self serving belief? -
I realy hate to weigh in on this... But the stats are weighed heavy against your friend.
Please note, I am not the one saying your friend will repeat.
But the facts are, the majority of drug related offenders do repeat. It's a revolving door.
I have friends on both sides of the law on this issue. The ones in law enforcement all say the same thing about a perp..."See ya next week".
And most perps say the same thing. "I learned my lesson"
85% of drug related offenders, get popped again within a 2 year period. Most within the first year.
The truth of the matter is, it's easy money. And folks are all about easy money now days.kickin chicken Thanks this. -
I guess you could say it's a proven fact! Anyway he is a convicted felon and shouldn't even have a CDL let alone a hazmat endorsement.
-
Logbook falsification is a felony . Yes , drivers and management have been tried and convicted . How many unconvicted felons are out there on the road ?kickin chicken Thanks this.

Amen Brother.
I give everyone the benefit of a doubt when they are on the road to being a honest working American. Since when does a person who wants to sell drugs need a cdl or a hazmat endorsement? It just is'nt logical.
I know way too many ex drug people who have turned away from it long ago.
The angel of self deceit is camped in the souls of the self righteous.
I find if illogical that you put forth a stern austerity in legal matters when your icon is the symbol of anarchy.ergo lawlessness.
I come in peace!! hahaLast edited by a moderator: May 12, 2009

No No my friend.....
Anarchy is not a movement. It's a period in time, to which we react.
It's a period of time where the law does not apply to the elected or appointed among us.
At one point in our history. We called them (anarchist) Patriots.kickin chicken Thanks this. -
I love a trucker that says "I never falsified a logbook in my driving career". Is that what you are saying? I know I have. Each and every person that does and condones that is responsible for their own actions.
You give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Until they run over your family and kill them. Then its game on right......
They don't need a CDL or Hazmat endorsement......but like I said if they have a felony they SHOULDN'T have one at all.Last edited by a moderator: May 12, 2009

That wasn't what I was saying . You said someone convicted of a felony shouldn't have a CDL . Then you admitted to be commiting felonies yourself falsifying your logs . By your standards you shouldn't have a CDL .
-
Well then I guess I worded it incorrectly and should of said that I over slept and just didn't do it. Is that a felony? Did I get caught? Yes I did. Stupid mistake, now lets hear is it a felony?
