Sorry I was vague. Yes but could be combined with mechanical gov, Upper rpm limits, gearing, alarms. UK still uses alot of this tech and has been mandated for years.

I saw one of these rolling on I90 near Syracuse a couple weeks ago. It was....wait for it.....a cool as heck ramp truck bringing a project home

 

They had one set up on cummins that had a gov that received a air signal from trans when shifted into the high side that limited the pump to control a
speed. Don't recall the name for it. It was a large combination of parts on fleet trucks. And guys always found away around it.

 

Narrowed my new trailer down to either a Mac 72k or a East BST. Other than 4ft rating, both are spec'd pretty much the same. Anyone with a East have any complaints?
