K&B Transport!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Hello fellow drivers, I wanted to warn you all about K & B Transport out of Souix City, IA/NE. I was approved to go to orientation after a week of phone calls, faxes, and background checks. K&B put me on a train to get there for a late night arrival. I arrived and started orientation a 7am the next morning. They had me fill out all the required paperwork, drug screen and physical and numerous tests and log tests. After lunchtime, they called me into an office and told me under the pretext of a medical concern, that they would not offer me employment. I asked why, and was told that I was considered a workers claim risk even though I have never filed a claim in my lifetime. I was told that they would pay for a bus ticket home, and was given a ride to the motel to pick up my belongings, and then taken to the bus station by a flunkie kid who drove the shuttle van for them. Once my bags were unloaded, he ran to his van and sped off. I called Sean at K & B and asked where my ticket was, and was told I was to find my own way home. So, BEWARE DRIVERS! If you are not what these people are looking for, you WILL be STRANDED BY THEM! I also would like to note, that when I left, 3 other drivers walked out behind me, and met 2 others at the station that described their ordeal with K&B. Calling them on their cell phones cursing and yelling, messaging the QC 15 or 20 times asking to respond within 10 minutes time. I was told by these drivers that they were asked to run hard overnight of about 700+ miles and then have to unload 100LB boxes of meat for up to 8+ hours once they got there. Then be expected to run again as soon as they were finished unloading. I may not be a college educated punk, but seems to me that with their turnover rate over 100%+, there are some illegal activities and driver abuse going on at this bottom feeding, trashy outfit. I hope if you look at this scumbag company, you do some research first and save yourself some heartache. In 15+ years of driving professionally, I have never been treated like a POS like this before.
