So Im climbing these hills in Wyoming in a Ram 3500 Tradesman hauling a 16000 lb toy hauler. Im keeping it slow at about 55 to keep the rpm's low. Despite this oil temp has risen to 266°F and the coolant to ahout 233 (which holds steady here). Is this normal or do I got something wrong somewhere? Just got the oil changed. I'm using Rotella full synthetic 5W-40

Yea get the RPM's up to 2200ish and she will cool right off. You are lugging the engine.
