Oh yeah, crap I forgot to check in on you. You should be throwing a couple back with me right now!!!! Make sure you leave TOMORROW!!!! Yeah Matt knows everything, I get the 411 to him one way or the other every time. He's a good apologizer
Can anyone recommend a CPA in the Birmingham, AL area that is familiar with the trucking industry. Thanks in advance.
Hey Rob sorry I coulden't answer the phone. somehow i broke the flip part of the phone.well I made it to Jax with my load of shell dumped off got back on the interstate headed to NC and the phone rings. it was my dads neighbor he had another Heart attack and diden't make it this time. so I headed back home..by the time i got home I had my entire family at my house.everyone wanted to know what i was going to do with the funeral and not to expect any funds from them as times are hard and im the oldest son. there all going to Disney world tomorrow.. go figure.oh well there calling for me again so I will have to go.talk to you later. Walt
If I can keep grossing to the truck $2000-3000 week (thats before all expenses) yes. keeps me home 1 or 2 days during the week and weekends. If I can't keep up the next day delivery of the $700-$800 loads then I may move out farther, its hard to be away from my 6yo. When schools out I will take him with me, I will have to figure were hes gonna sleep though!! BTW I found my truck washer, works for clone wars toys and legos! (see pic)
IMOP (mine only) you should get into flatbed. So far, its been in and out in less than hour, takes longer to strap down than for them to load and unload!!! LOL! Although I did have to wait a 1/2 hour this afternon to have sheet-rock unloaded because the guy was loading another flatbed (they get priority) very, very, slllllooooooowwwww.
Oh walt, wow I had no idea... sorry to beat up your phone today. Take all the time you need obviously. If your dad was anything like mine, and it sounded like he was, then nothing expensive. We did the cremation route and a private service at the house. Call whenever you need of course.
