It’s summer so I just wear a pair of ASICS running shoes. But believe me there is no running. When out with trainer in the winter I had the same shoes but also a pair of work boots.

 

I just got into my own truck in February, mid February and all by my lonesome 6 months later I’m close to 60,000

 

Haha when you deliver in Memphis? We deliver 6am Thursday with reload back to LaCrosse

 

7 am Thursday with reload back to la cross

 

Ok here is a couple questions maybe someone would like to answer.
Fuel solutions.... why? I know it’s a pretty broad question. But there has to be several answers.

Second question. So suggested routing from La Crosse to Memphis is I think about 20 miles longer than 90-39-55. Toll is only $4.50 according to Rand McNally. What gives?

 

Fuel because those are the places we get the biggest discount at.

And routing well $4.50 doesnt seem like much to you. But at 1 time we were running 15 trucks to Memphis on the daily. Multiply that by the 4.50 multiplied by 5 days a week.....

 

Since I’m new to this trucking thing what is that blue funnel thing I see Underneath of landstar trailers.

 

Went into Lenscrafters today to get some glasses. Called up my usual eye doctor but I wouldn't be able to get in there until the 26th and I want to make sure I have glasses when class starts on August 5th. Nice sale going on, so I splurged for regular glasses and prescription sunglasses. The last few years I've been without glasses, so it was contacts or bust and the last 7 years in China I've been using dailies because of the irritants in the air. However, dailies really burn out and becoming really hit or miss as your eyes get tired. Glad I had a nice amount of savings built up from China for all the small investments I'm making right now. Will be nice to get back to making a little money soon.
