It's a choice I made--and not an easy one. As some may know, I was on the 7/7 program, working another job at home on my weeks off. It looks like that's going to turn to more of a full-time gig, and, though the pay is less, there's no price you can put on being home. The thing that sucked the most was never being able to make plans for the weekend. When I was on the road, I wouldn't know if I'd be home Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. When I was home, even if I wouldn't launch until Monday, I'd never know until it was too late. The last straw was when I didn't launch until Monday again. I drove there late Sunday night, got up early, and sat around the yard until early afternoon. I sent in my two weeks notice, then got stuck driving around Wisconsin all week. This week was great for miles, but I should be sitting at home right now--not the Altoona, IA Bosselman's.

Altoona! That casino has truck parking! Iowa has no limit hold'em, you know.

The home time unpredictability really is a problem, though.

I used to stop at casinos all the time. I was a bit low on cash and haven't had the urge to gamble in quite some time. I'd rather stay away from them so I don't get the addiction back. I could see the sign, and the rides at the amusement park.

My husband has a Freighliner Columbia, 10 speed, also says he gets 62 mph on the pedal and 60 on cruise.
