My hubby, who used to train for Swift out of Lathrop, got students from TDA and he didn't like the way they didn't train students (of course, he didn't care for the lack of training through Swift either)........if you can, try another school like Western Pacific Truck School (I think that's what they call it now) out of Sac. This is just my opinion.
-
Is that the one that trains in conjunction with Food Link? If so, I know there was another forum member who went there. My husband went with Western Pacific and was pleased with them.
-
My hubby went to Western before they added the Pacific to the name. Then it was Western Truck School and he did know how to drive a truck when he graduated from them.
-
so i should probably look into western pacific truck school.
-
Both Western Truck School and Western Pacific Truck School are operating in Sacramento. I don't remember the story, but I think it was a husband and wife split up thing or something. We made several visits to both before we decided on Western Pacific. Good luck to you. We are from Colfax, so we used to be your up-the-hill neighbors.
-
do you know how much there school costs.
-
Don't know the cost, but Western, and Western Pacific, are decent schools.
Western is located (the driving yard) on West Capitol. And Western Pacific is on Fruitridge, just east of Florin-Perkins.
Stay away from TDA!!!!ge23ll Thanks this. -
No, he went 2 years ago. They were both in the $3500-4500 range at that time. Are you unemployed? Can you qualify for any assistance from the EDD?
