CDL A school in the Los Angeles area..

    Looking for one of the better schools in LA. I'm looking to pay out of pocket and looking for a school that is thorough and in depth in there teaching techniques. Such as good instructors and equipment. What does a 160 hour school mean? Planning on getting a doubles and hazmat endorsement as well. TIA

    California is it's own Nation in terms of trucking schools There are about 20+

    LA is probably one for the birds in terms of driving lessons. Good luck to you.

    160 hour course is the best way to go. Some good companies will hire from those schools. Some tanker companies like Superior Carriers have a list of approved schools. You don't have to go to a mega if you pay for your own school. Good luck.

    Which type trucking do you prefer and do you prefer local or regional or long haul?
