I'm having a hard time making my Payments. It's not really work related. Hospital Bills, Got behind during the High Fuel and now slow work.
That sure sounds work related after reading it.lol
During a web search for Avoiding Bankruptcy I came across this.
Has anyone ever heard of easy debt forgiveness?
It's a web site BTW.
Sounds like a good deal. It's about time a Little Guy got a Break.

Read the contract line by line and understand every single line. If you don't understand every line then don't sign. Most of the time the contract states that if they fail to help you with your credit or bills, you will have to pay them on top of what you own now. You will find that they have a way out if they fail to help you but you will be forced to pay them for nothing so be very careful. A friend tried this and ended up paying them 6000 dollars for nothing. All this company would say was sorry but we tried.
The way his worked was you paid X amount up front and then pay a monthly payment into a escrow account and they would bargain with your lenders to cut the amount you owned. After 6 months he had bill collectors calling day and night to collect money and one even took him to court for not paying and all along the company had his escrow account locked up and collecting interest off of it. His credit history was shot and he still owned this company 2000 dollars which they took from his escrow account before letting him have the rest. Read every line and you will find the contract is stacked in their favor not yours.panhandlepat Thanks this. -
most of those are scams preying on people in debt

Ever hear of Dave Ramsey? He has a call in show 11-2pm CDT that he gives people advice on handling debt. He is dead set against those type outfits for the reason stated above. They are mostly crooks.
He has a TV show and a big web site on the net also. -
Do an honest, no BS look at your finances. If you can't make it work - and that means having enough to cover the bills, put a roof over your head and still eat - go talk to a bankruptcy attorney. It sucks. It's also just talk until you file.
The credit fixers are just blood suckers, out to get whatever they can from you.
I always managed to make things work, but this time it was just too much. Bankruptcy is not an admission of failure... it's a way of starting over. Think of it as an "individual bailout." If Wall St. can get bailed out, so can you! -
Thanks for the Advice. As crazy as it sounds I think I'm going to try it. It's only $99.00 I guess it's kind of like a Lottery Ticket.

If ya have $99 to blow on lottery tickets, then I guess you're not too bad off.
I'd guess that like most of these scams, $99 is just the beginning, then they'll need another 250 for this or 500 for that, or if they really think you're a sucker they'll ask you to pay by bank draft so they have your bank account info... which they'll proceed to drain and you'll never hear from them again.
Like the other poster mentioned, find Dave Ramsey on your radio and listen for a couple of weeks. Most people who file bankruptcy arent even close to bankrupt, they're just scared and cant see a way out... Dave helps folks get organized and find a way out, and learn from the mistakes that got ya there in the first place.
