Grandpa always said......

I have always a healthy respect for our Mountain Regions, a culture that knows just enough to enjoy life and discards anything else that takes away from enjoying life. Such as Revenuers. He he

 

Good stuff everyone. Heard this..some make it happen... some watch it happen..some wonder what happened.

 

Ours lived that one. One in particular, he had 12 heart attacks and a number of lethal conditions, Despite being ordered not to smoke, drink or chase woman he did all of that until he dropped mowing grass using a old spiral mechanical mower.

The Ambulance service was usually there to save him AGAIN in 11 of the trips within about oh... 4 minutes.

On the 12th we believe one of the Ambulance houses said again? and took 14 minutes to arrive. By then he was already gone.

We buried him deep because for one thing whatever happened to him in last wars combined with some of the serious crimes made him a extreme difficult person to get along. For whatever reason he tolerated me and maybe you can call me a favorite of his. However... it is what it is.

 

My grandfather told me to always be punctual. He said if you were early, you were on time, and if you were on time, you were late.

Forty years later, I still live by that saying.

 

My dad told me not to marry the woman I loved the most but to marry the woman that annoyed me the least.

 

If it has tits or tires it's gonna give you trouble

 

Your lack of planning does not make for an emergency for me.

I actually like my job just had a bad day and being Young and rash and ready to walk away at anytime if I think they where trying to screw me over without think about it so the night rest really help me calm down and think things through

 

My little Welsh Grandpa, and much taller Irish Grandma (both off the boat) had many great sayings.
