National, flatbed. I got my first load and was routed thru the house and wouldn't you know it,I plugged to many things in and when I went to leave this A.M. my truck was dead,therefor I will be late getting my first load delivered ,what else will go wrong?![]()

Ouch! Well, think of it this way, it's the first by yourself load and if that's the worse thing that can happen then the rest shouldn't be to bad, right? My husband had to switch off the flatbed division, the lumber tarps weigh about 200 lbs, 100 lbs more than he's use to, so he admitted defeat and switched to curtainside lol. Which dispatcher did you get? His under flatbed was Tom, he was pretty decent the short time he was dispatched by him.
Hopefully you get started and going soon, where do you deliver at? Is it somewhat close by?Last edited: May 19, 2009

I have been so far on my own thru PA,OH,WV,WI,IN,IL, and now I am sitting in KY waiting to deliver tomorow morn. I have got about 1800 miles under my first 6 days out......not to shabby for beginning....and didnt get lost today....haha....
