Over here they have emissions testing on all vehicles up to 10k lbs every 2 years (unless you buy new, then they waive the first 2 year interval) @$25. Anymore they pull your car/truck in (tech has to do it) plug it in to the computer, then type your info in. Takes under 5 minutes. There’s always a long line. And it’s all on camera to the DMV.
They also do emissions on heavy trucks at spot checks and scale houses... as I got to find out last year. Surprised he ain’t charged me for that too, the way this ####in state is run.

Wonder when they are going to go the way of California and start banning older trucks.

Waiting to unload here at Monahans. Feel like @Grubby watching paint dry.

The only time I've had my fuel checked and a pipe sniffed was in CT. And one thing I'm gonna miss about car carriers is DOT never crawls under to check anything. It always saves me time at the scales.

So you’re the reason they can’t afford to fund porta-potties for the “Friends of the Spotted Moose Owl” organization functions.

    Prolly soon.
Matter of fact; they prolly won’t. They’ll just increase the taxes on older cars more n more. Governor got caught on video saying he should put in a state car tax on top of each towns tax.
Last week I wrote a check for $2900 for property taxes on vehicles, that covers to January when the next $2900 be due.

I don't guess I should complain about the county wanting to raise our wheel tax from $30 to $60 after reading this.
