OOIDA member hassled over swine flu hysteria

This policy positively absolutely 99.9% certain, had to be dreamed up by a HR or safety dept pin head idiot.

Hard to believe a private company can outdo the gubbermint when it comes to stoooopid.

 

It is their property and they can enact rules to enter. If you don't like it, don't deliver there.

The government does not have the right to influence what a company does.

Is it stupid? Who knows. Companies have made some really strange rules in the past.

 

I deeliver to a major food distributor in Nashville, TN every week. Since this swine flu started making news they have flipped out. They no longer allow drivers in the building except the lumpers office which is right inside the door that 99% of the employees go through as well. They make you answer 3 questions on a form about being sick when you first go inside the guardshack for your door assignment and if you answer yes to any of the wuestions they will tell you to leave and reschedule your appt for another day. There is nothing wrong with being cautious but this is the kind of fear that the media causes with all this crap they feed us.
