Fuel bonus is still out there. You have to run 8500 hubmiles a month and get at least 6.4 mpg if you have an apu, if not an apu truck it's 6.0.

Not to doubt alot of what you say, I know it to be a fact, that Steve A. HAS no daughter named Carole. That is, if he did, she would have to be 11 years old, as of the time of your report. I know this, because I left that company in 94, after 10 yrs. with them. He has two sons and two daughters, none of which are named Carole.
Now, if everything else is correct, why on earth did you agree to any of it??? That's plain stupidity on your part, if you did. They used to have a few idiots working in management, but things must have really hit the skids after I left. I was one of the first original trainers there, and it wasn't bad at all then.
Like I said, if you went into a deal like that with your eyes open, you didn't think anything through. -
whats your point. If you got trained you owe the 5,000 if you did not stay for the whole year.plain and simple.
when you go buy a car and dont finish the contract should you get your money back?
I just dint get it. -
Man you are gonna hear this crap for every co. you check out. so just get looking.
-
Swift or prime. dont make me laugh.yea go check out the driver complaints on them.
-
Stevens dont give lease driver miles. come on i know this is a lie.
-
I met a Stevens driver years ago and he was quite happy as a lease. I don't know if things have changed since. I would never work for them from what I've heard here lately.
-
you dont make a lot of sense.
I drove for STEVENS for 15 months at two different times.overall a real good co. to start off a trucking career with.i will be coming back in 3 weeks to join in again.
the pay is about average as all the other competitors, it would not make much sense to leave before your 1 yr is up because you can make 2 pennies more with another co. and get less miles, and get your big check garnished from not paying off you training loan.
cruise control i never even used it.
I mostly stayed out 6-8 weeks at a time.then took about a week off.
for home time its best to just shoot for a certain week instead of a certain day and specific time.do you know how hard that would be to do for every employee?
some co.don't even give you a co. car to use when your on the yard.be thankful.you can bring your own car and leave it there on the yard, or would that be to long of a drive for ya.
oh well i guess if your not happy you probably need to be off the road.

When services are rendered a fee is expected. If you trained a student to drive then you kept up your part of the deal, but if you leave before your 1 year then you owe. I guess Steve Arron is still weeding out truck drivers and wannabes. If you think its a scam than you go to any college and take a class or course, and if you dont complete it you still owe for a student loan.:smt068
