I don't really mind folks who want a call--annoying, but tolerable.

What gets up my nose is the people who want a call...they talked to dispatch this morning...they know I'm going to call them...

...and they don't answer the dang phone. And their mailbox is full or hasn't been set up. Dude, really? And if I can't get ahold of them and move on, they'll be the ones screaming about "where's my freight" and "the driver never called" and some such.

Sure you can. Who cares if they’re 30 miles out of the way? Go there anyway driver. o_O

    That’s what we’re always told.

I block my number before I make those calls, and if they don’t answer, that’s tough ####. They’ll find their junk in a nice out of the way spot in the driveway when they get home. I run way too far to deal with knuckleheads like that.

“But Mr. Mack, what if they wanted it taken in the house?”

    :laughing3: :laughing-guffaw:

    Yeah, ok.

There would’ve been about as much chance of that happening as “porn star” becoming my side job.

...If they feel like handling it, that is. Ours typically can’t be bothered to interrupt their candy crush or porn surfing or whatever the hell they do that should be done on their own time.

Props to you guys that deal with all those savages on I294 during rush hour everyday. I got a taste this morning. If I had any cold beer I’d be cracking one open right now lol.

When I punched out, I overheard part of a conversation between the linehaul dispatcher and the terminal manager. Apparently some genius of a linehaul driver was supposed to meet a driver from out Cincinatti way in Somerset PA. When they tracked our driver, they found him in Pittsburgh. :biggrin_2551::biggrin_25521:

Seriously, how in the hell does this happen???:biggrin_2552:
