I use to run to this area a lot.I would have killed it.Attached are pics of a coworkers friend that got bit in that area while installing upright tanks.Ended up having his thumb cut off after it got worse over a few months.

Because you have to get within its striking range to kill it.

That's why they invented rifles. They had it picked up with a pipe or something, they could've jammed it in tree chipper at that point.

I don't like snakes if you can't tell, especially not rattlers that look like they could eat a horse.

I'm not aware of any producer that allows firearms on their locations (although I do know a few gaugers who carry pistols). Regardless, torching off a round in the presence of flammable vapors is absolutely not a good idea.
