Not jealous at all! If that's what you want, and can afford it. Go for it! It's your money, your bill, do your thing. I thought about it several times, but I call bs when the guys tell me they dont do any more shuttles than anyone else.

For a bedbugger, when they cannot get their tractor/trailer into the where they have to load/unload, they have to rent a smaller penkse type truck. Then load it from the house, drive to where their truck is parked and unload into the big truck. Rinse and repeat til done. That small truck is a shuttle. And can be a big pita.

Gotcha, makes sense. My truck now is 310, but I used to drive a 325. I always got where I needed to be, but there were times I had to work at it, and some residential areas were a pain to say the least.

There was one parked by me the other day and they were moving load to a Penske rental, several trips, looked like shuttle work to me maybe the new terminology is ‘last mile”

No overlength laws, I like the way they strap a bunch of stuff to the back of the trailer, outside, sometimes. When they’re out of room. Makes me laugh.

My daughters boyfriend just started as a helper, Only a month on the job, been out of state twice, Philly, and Indy. All on the clock, plus per diem pay. They’re already pushing him to get his CDL, he just got his Drivers license. They’re willing to pay for a 4 wk school, I told him to get the straight Truck figured out first. Went bobtailing around the other day, He’s got a lot of questions, my daughter told him It’s a bad idea, knowing what all is involved with Trucking, Looks like he’s got the fever!!!! I’ve seen it a million times. Oh boy, here we go !!!

A lot of movers around here have drom boxes instead of those big bunks. They can look similar from a difference.
