That depends on the individual State. My State posts that in a school zone fines are double. But that is not what we do. That's just P.R., it's the same fine as if your on the highway. Now when these folks come to court, the judges usually significantly raise the fine. Back in April, I had a fella in court that was going 42 in a 25, Big and Thomas, it was a car. It was a $90 preset fine. Guy already had 6 points, this one will give him 2 more points. The judge raised the fine to $500 after looking at his driving record. In the last year or two, the judges have been pulling records in the court room. when I first started, I had to bring everyone's driving record to court if I wanted the judge to know who bad the record is.
Heres what CVSA will be checking for June 2-4

Be careful what you ask, you wouldn't want to make yourself a bigger target than you already are in a big rig!

I believe you are right to bring this to his department's attention, newlife. There is just no excuse for his ignoring this. However, I am wondering if he is able to actually see what is going on with the bus, from his place of concealment.

That is true with the overgrowth, not sure if he can see.I'm not trying to make enemies.I just think it not fair that he only pops trucks.Even though I live on a state road I'm too far out of town that the town police don't patrol this far out of town limits.Last edited: May 30, 2009
