I have tryed 3 dirent co's. not a wise thing to try at this time. My advise is to save you up some money put a down payment on a truck and then lease on to a co you trust be safe not sorry like me.

So I get a call today from Peterbilt Shreveport. They are offering me an off lease purchase. $5000.00 down and a payment of about $2100.00 on an 08 379 Flat top with 114000 miles. Ouestion, what is an off lease purchase and is this a good way to go? I ask here first so I don't look so dumb when I talk with them.
Thanks,Gary
PS I got a call approving me for a loan with a place called Truck Center USA in Houston, you can see there add in Truck Paper, they even flew me and my wife down there to buy a truck. JUNK, everything they had on the lot. The salesman got red faced pissed when I told him he didn't have anything on his lot that I would spend the 3 to 5 years working to pay for. Needless to say we called a taxi and caught the next flight back to El Paso( paid for by me)....lesson learned...truckinwva Thanks this. -

I would put every detail in print before you drive off in that truck. Good friends are hard to come by & not worth a truck coming between. Definitely something you would want to have a complete understanding of who takes care of what & when.
