Biggest problem for reefers is dragging the pallets down the walls. They do it all the time though. This liner I have is pretty stout though. The people in the warehouses don’t care.

No, they don't! I am afraid I would go just completely mad seeing an equipment this expensive to be scratched inside like they do scratch the plates inside my van. Not to mention grooving the floor by pushing skids.

I had a doozy of a fill up yesterday. I picked up in Hickory, KY to Baltimore, 80,100 lbs with full tanks. Had to across the KY Parkways to I68 to Baltimore. I forgot how bad I68 is, chugging up all those hills. I loaded melons in Delaware, 78k pounds to Henderson, NC, reload Halifax, only 60k gross, to the TA West of Raleigh on 40. That was 8.38 mpg on that loop. I havent had one that demanding in awhile. Getting out of DE through Norfolk sucks fuel too. I hate that road.

That's pretty good MPGs all things considered. Lol. I struggle to get that running empty. Lol

Once the permit service corrects my IFTA report I can post it. For the second quarter my MPG was 9.01. They mixed up some reefer transactions in it right now. That’s my best mpg, so far.

Good job my friend. I was also impressed by my numbers last quarter. I came up from 6.4 to 7.3. 90% of the time I had less than 20k lbs in the box but I was running 68-70 mph also. I'm sure this quarter I'll be back down cause 80% of my loads have been over 40k lbs. Lol

Had another demanding fill up. This one was 79k weight, 694.5 miles, 8.57 mpg. Had to take a scenic detour in KY due to the interstate completely shut down.

August had some really good numbers. I did 10238 total miles, 23,156 in Revenue, 2.26 per mile on all miles, 19% DH, 2.69 per loaded mile. I had 3 loads during the month that had to get rescheduled an additional day due to detention at shippers, if that hadn’t happened I could have had even more revenue. It still worked out though. I also had 5 days off at the beginning of the month.
