There is another web site that I can't find now that stated the Titan was doing wheel stands to get it rolling - it's an understatement to say it was one hell of an acheivement!
Also notice the cattle cars they used - a lot higher than normal trailers - only low obstructions to worry about where they run are clouds.

I have heard of those trains they usually have three members teams alternating driving and one is a mechanic to boot.. I think they work in 8 hour shifts one up driving transfers to passenger seat the one in passenger go to bunk and the fresh driver comes forward into the drivers seat from the bunk.. Not a bad way to do things....With the way things are going here with the marriges I can see a team being made of three husbands or two husbands and a wife or is that two wifes and a husband oops I should save that for the political forum lol bye

Not sure about the 3 team members - have heard of 2. Those drivers need to be a bit of everything and I have heard that if it's a major mechanical problem and they are too far out, that they will chopper the new component to the the truck with a mechanic, whether it be engine, gearbox etc and change it there on the spot.

I won't doubt it - better to have 1 extra if something happens. The first trailer is normaly reserved for fuel, food, tyres and everything else imaginable for those trips and then the cargo.
The Outback is an awesome place - makes you see just how insignificant we really are, and deadly. Every vehicle is required to carry a UHF radio tuned into the Royal Flying Doctor frequency for if you get lost or injured.

That's something you would have to search the web for. It also takes a special class of license to drive them. Check out this web site for requirements on the license:
