I just noticed a new spot tonight. Lots of parking at west end plaza where 70 and 601 split near westcliff NC. Blue bay seafood across the street and thelmas down home cooking in the plaza. I'll try them on my next 2 brick loads.
For any of you guys that end up running brick out of wadesboro back thru the gorge, 52N to 601 to 70W will pass all these places i described in NC today and get you back to 40 without any traffic or scales. Great road but avoid staying straight into downtown salisbury. Zig left onto 85S and zag right off first exit for 601 to go around. If you stay on 70W all the way to sharon school rd it'll beat the conover chicken house. 23 will get you around candler. Hell you can go full outlaw and 129 to 321 around knoxville coop if yer really feelin froggy.
Mom N Pop restaurants you can fit at.

They have a huge parking lot that could probably fit 50 trucks, and a state rest area practically on the same property. So much potential, I'm sure the kids are just waiting for some old people to die so they can sell or upgrade the property.Intothesunset and Roadgeek395 Thank this. -
Silver moon cafe, Santa Rosa, NM.
Lots of choices on the menu, lot in back for about 6/8 trucks, big lot across the street.

Pollard flat Cafe exit 712 in California on interstate 5. It is family owned has been there for a very long time. The family still runs it and is there pretty much every day. Last year they had a bad fire out there where is located and by a stroke of luck the fire did not actually get the restaurant. it got right up to the back of the building but did not actually take the building. this has been one of my favorite places to stop and get a bite to eat. Great food a huge dirt lot for at least 50 trucks as long as the drivers can park right which we all know nobody knows how to do anymore unless there's lines to follow LOL. It's so good I drove my wife the 120 miles from my home in Oregon to take her to this place once. She loved it
