Some of us dont have good enough credit or some dont have enough trucking experience when it comes to running own business.
That was my case. ACT game a chance on their lease program in 2012. I completed the lease showed a history of making my own trk payments which led to better credit score. Got a loan for the 12000 buyout didnt need it just wanted to build more credit. 6months later paid loan off sold trk for 35000. Bought a GLIDER TRUCK. set up my own business book my own loads. Since 2015 i have been avg more time off with family than ever and i avg 6000 in revenue a wk . some weeks more some less. I set my own rates including detention time rate per mile etc

Honestly the lease purchase wasnt easy but very valuable experience.

You are spot on. Lease purchase is a scam.

 

Nice equipment, but trying to re invent the wheel with their dispatching. They wait till your rolling on a load, then send another. If your wear a headset it probably isn't that bad. I don't, and by the time you pull over they yank the load.
My last day I got to Houston before noon. My load was a live load and they had 5 loaded trailers blocking the docks. Have were supposed to be picked up the day before. Shipper was pissed and wanted me to grab a loaded 1 and deliver. They were all going to the same place. Dispatch would not switch my load! So stupid! I quit.. They have no respect for customers or drivers. Don't see how they stay in biz..
