Well widow....seeing as we both don't have the hubby's home maybe i can fly over there and help you pack and say the choice words we can't quite say on our posts. I feel for you because you have your daughters and you have to put up the front and be happy and stable all the time. I gave myself the most wicked, meanest headache from crying and ######## to myself yesterday that i'm just a little mental today. Anyway, sorry for getting you started again but i just had to vent to the people who would know what the heck i was talking about. My thoughts and prayers to you that it all works out.

I am trying to keep my head up and be patient but everytime he calls i keep expecting good news but it gets worse.

Thanks for opening my eyes to the miles he gets coming home, i am so caught up with being depressed that i tend to overlook the main things right in front of my eyes.

Trying to remain positive when he calls home but like a good husband he can hear it in my voice and i am such a bad liar. I will take your words in and try to look towards the brighter future, that he will be home soon and that i have the privilege to go otr with him unlike some of the wives who have responsibilities at home and can't go.

Thanks again Jess, you hit the spot and i am back on track again.

I feel for you two, I really do. I don't know what I'd do if my wife called me and told me that we were losing our house. This is what makes me nervous and excited about starting at Central. On the one hand, I see posts like this and think "WTF am I doing?" and on the other I see a chance of doing something I did quite a while ago that made me happy. I hope everything works out for both of you.

Oh, by the way, where can I get a truckers Atlas at Jess? Probably at a truckstop I would imagine?

Believe me Ladies I know how your feeling and it sucks!!!!!!!!!

Tina keep your head up a good check coming home is important as the check the week after hometime always sucks!!

Vent all you want more people need to see how hard it is for the Family at home and to also see that you NEVER EVER believe a recruiter.

Newtruckerwidow: I am thinking of ya! Call me when you need to talk or vent lol, we can discuss the pro's and Cons of storage rooms.

Bullet: Any truck stop will have a truckers atlas, JJ says the the Pilot truck stops have a deal going right now with a $10 rebate from Rand McNally, make sure you buy the Motor Carrier one!

Rhino has a tom tom GPS. It's not a trucker one but you can update it online for truck routes. Rhino has always used his. If you have a nose for directions it is simple. He always knows when he should make alternate turns. Especially after you been out there awhile you get to know where you're going and just the little info the GPS gives along with what you know is enough.
