You do make an excellent point. I cant find the fact either.[/quote]
I have walked by a bunch of Werner trucks and trailers and its hard to find one that has not been damaged somewhere,I even watched a Werner driver hit a CFI truck just because he was backing in way to fast,Werners fault,NO!He could be the one talking bad about them.I talk bad about them because they talk a good game of safety but do nothing when it comes to FD or DG accounts,my shoulder still hurts from getting knocked out of a trailer at a Family Dollar store, you tell any one that will listen to you about the unsafe loaders and they did nothing. You tell them they are sending to big of a trailer to stores and the next time its bigger, you go into a store and when you go to leave you can't for you can't turn out so you back out and I got lucky for no car was coming and no matter how many times you GOAL you cant see when you are backing blind in a shopping center and cars will not stop for you unless they have no room to get by you but that happens everywhere with trucks..As for the facts, talk to any FD driver about how they load.In a court of law I would have the proof but not on here.

Wow. Some of these quote's are getting screwed up. I'm sure I'm posting this stuff correctly. People like myself are being quoted saying stuff they never even posted. But yes I agree with Chasing Tomorrow. I witnessed the same stuff during my little stint with Gordon Trucking. Makes me wonder how some of these people can even keep a job.

Yes the quotes are screwed up but I think we all know who said what... LOL

If you don't mind.. what brought you to that conclusion? Please provide specific details.
I am a soon to be graduate from a truck driving school. I, as well as at least one of my classmates, have been pre-hired by Werner.
We had both heard non-specific warnings about Werner.
So he went out to 6 or 7 truckstops last weekend and spoke to several OTR drivers... One driver he spoke to has been driving for Werner of over 20 years and that driver had no major issues with the company.
He and I have heard vague warnings about Werner, but #### few specifics about why it is such a horrible company to drive for.Last edited by a moderator: Jun 7, 2009

In their first quarter report Werner stated they have reduced their fleet by 4% . Now ask your self why a carrier that is reducing their fleet size would be constantly hiring . They and other carriers that send recruiters to school are constantly hiring because drivers are constantly quitting .

Good answer.
