I have never seen a binding kingpin cause stiffness in only direction, but it could be possible. Best way to check is to jack it up and turn the wheels side to side by hand to see if one way is too tight.

That doesn't sound right to me. Stiff only in one direction, you replaced the gear and pump, turns fine by hand with jacked up, and you still have the same problem? Disconnect the input shaft to the gear and see how your steering wheel turns by itself.

Same issue. But with a Sheppard box in a cascadia. New box. Pump pressures checked good. Had front end checked and aligned twice. Still turns easy as pie to the right. Turning left acts as if air is in the system. Rev it a little and the stuff I goes away

I have an 2012 Cascadia and when I crank up in the morning my steering is fine but once everything heats up it starts getting harder to turn mostly but will be loose at times

I did not read the 4 pages before your post. Probably should have started your own.
Sounds like a pump to me but you can do tests or just start changing parts.

    Heavyd and Mtw Thank this.
