I have been reading up on Swift, CRE, Pam, Stevens, ect. I do not have the money to go to a outside school therefore that is why I am looking at this route. I have been reading alot of neg. and some pos. about all of them. My goal is to be an owner/op, and I have tried to look at their leases so if I could get feedback from those of you that are in these leases currently with these Companies it would be greatly helpful. Please don't make this a whining blog every co. has it's good and bad I would like the facts good or bad and if there is any suprizes after the fact. I do understand these are not the best cases to choose from but these are the only options that I have at this time.

I would go to Centrals School. Central has a terminal in conley. Check out the Central thread in "Your favorite trucking company section." Both 1BadZ28, JJranch, and a couple of others have through there. Chromedome used to drive for them as well as lastkidpicked. Contact member scarecrow on PAM as he used to be a trainer there.

Owner/Operator, lease driver. Two totally different things. I would look at there O/O Pay, and buy a truck outright, and lease on to the company you think has the best pay. 99% of lease purchases are geared toward lining the companies pockets, and breaking yours.
