I love your dinosaur. he is so cute.

I applied with Central. it is hard as hell to get a job. I have 3 months OTR a clean MVR and no criminal background. A lot of companies have changed their hiring policies due to the economy. Swift gave me an approval, but I am on a waiting list for orientation. My app was approved in May. I am tired of this. I want to make MONEY

 

Central is only hiring people with no experience at all to put through their school.

 

Is there any difference between the California school and the Utah school? Is one better than the other? Just curious, Thanks!

The schools are much the same, WVC Utah is Centrals main Terminal.

 

I think I like Central and Stevens based on the phone calls today.

I can't really comment on Stevens!! As I don't know enough about how they run these days.

Central is a good starter company!

 

First day of school at Central. I could write a book about todays experiences. I kind of relate this to USMC basic training. No yelling but alot of movement and paperwork. Started the class with about 30 people and its down to a little over 20 now after a few people lied on their apps. and background checks. 1 person failed the lifting and carrying portion of the physical. I have 5 chapters of the CDL book to read tonight and the other 2 tommorow night. The written test is Weds. with makeup on Thurs.
It's been about 20+ years since I had to do any studying.

 

We tell everyone on here DO NOT LIE on your App they will find out!! But I suppose not many people find this website before they go there!
