Basically with a series 60, no oil in antifreeze or vice versa and it starts, keep running it!

Please try not to do any more nevers.

It's now and time. Might as well find out whats it in that oil or whatever it is.

Sometimes my wife gets put out when I cluck and nurse the truck. She was better when I would do that before I got home so I could not be bothered to see the #### thing. Let it burn. I'll be back in it soon enough.

I suppose the idea that you think there might be a problem. Hum you think? Let's get to it right quick, leave off them nevers. They have a way of biting you bad.

I wouldn’t waste a dime on it. Dyno? Overrated. IMO. You could have something like an injector spraying like crazy, for instance, it will crank out on a Dyno, Better if any money spent on hooking it up to computer, see what’s going on now. And oil samples, and everything else Amodelcat said. Blow by on Detroit’s is weird., worse some days, humidity, dew point, I believe play a part. Just my idea. Mine has had strange blow by, different levels, colors, for years. Maybe another problem, Turbo, air compressor,If it’s not mixing oil oil/water. And not losing or making pressure in coolant. Change oil at 8- 10k, run it hard, without lugging below 1250-1300. Don’t idle, Maybe rings will seal up, and help with blow by. Might want to get that oil sample, before taking my advice. Lol

I remember a world of older iron engines all we ever did with them is foot on the floor. Usually every gear.

Not a blessed problem. Not that much anyway, they get colds and sniffles just like anything. But in those days there aint nothing over engineered today to screw them up. If one of them had a cough, literally it's going to be either the turbo or at least one cylinder not quite getting what it needs.

There is one dreaded problem once in a while the engine has had enough of you.

Then proceeds to run away. You have to do whatever you do to starve the #### thing shut off fast any way you can fast before it detonates on everyone.

    Here the dyno test report.

Guy who did dyno test at Clark's power services told me it's normal to add 3 gallons of oil to Detroit 60 series for 12000-15000 miles.

They told me the numbers are within the spec limits.

    Please comment on report.

    Thanks

Idle oil pressure seems low at 20psi keep an eye on it if drops might need rod and main bearings

I refuse to accept 12 15K miles in 3 gallons WTF....

I carried 5 for months in the side box and maybe she gets a dallop into the fill tube a little now and then before a bad pull.

That dyno report says nothing. So she smokes. Let's find out where from.

Real dyno reports come in a form of charts. However your HP values and pressures are ok, oil pressure at 20 eeeh a bit lowish. But I have to think on that little bit. I like em at 30 maybe. If it dropped first that tells me shes working hard, coolant temp will go up but when you get flat and easy roll she should settle back down in a hour or so.
