Things get weird when you parallel park as much as me. I can blindside back better than I can driver side. I guess it's from using that side of the truck much more. Once you get past the test don't be afraid to GOAL. I have only ever city drove and I. Philadelphia PA and Tampa FL which are huge cities and I have never hot anything because I'm not afraid to get out and see where I'm at and what's behind me.

 

Tampa is full. Not being a dick but seriously it is. If you live in Tampa plan on an hour drive anywhere you need to go 24/7 gridlocked traffic. There is a reason I moved out twords Polk county and work at night.

 

You should always follow what you learn in school in fact I expanded on what I learn when backing and put it to use going forward so now I'm the safest driver around just like yesterday when I was going down the road I seen a sharp trun down a hill and gently came to a slow stop before I turn my wheel went forward a couple of feet and stop to make sure I was in my lane and keep repeating intell the road got straight.
if it good enough to stop everytime you have to trun you wheel in reverse it must be good going forward to
