Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

If I could just de-throne and stop acting like the spoiled princess he's made me I could be more understanding and patient and take off this "it's all about me" shirt. Hmmm, it was so much fun wearing that shirt tho', *sigh*. I truly welcome all your pep talks and am very greatful that I have your posts to keep me smiling....and learning all about the business.

BTW: What really got me started on all of the hissy-fit tantrum was when he went to Conley to get his truck, they were going to send him out with a truck that had worn front tires, and a broken drive shaft. Because they set that truck up for him, when he told them he couldn't take it because of the problems, it caused yet another delay. I was just flabbergasted that the safety of the vehicle wasn't of a higher priority to the shop. What's up with that? Any how, Bob was on his toes and caught the problem and was assigned another truck. What if he received the truck in the evening....and he had to immediately pick up a load....and had gotten stranded somewhere? Just thankful for the outcome of that incident.

From what I have heard the shop in Conley is a joke and safety isn't on top of there list.

So what color truck did he get? and did he get a Vulva OOPs mean't Volvo or a new Prostar?

Believe me I know what it is like when you are expecting them home and it just doesn't happen That lil green face with the mouth moving real quick is me when JJ says baby im gonna be a few days late.

 

The waiting is killing me!!! I got a message from Mr. Williams on Tuesday saying that he received my application. Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...Must be patient...It'll be worth it if I'm just a little patient...

Maybe I'll call him tomorrow afternoon if I haven't heard anything by then.

 

It's an excersize that they make you do. You have to lift 50# and 75# up to waist level and put it on a shelf 3 times and then do the same thing overhead on a shelf 3 times. You then have to walk the length of a room and back with the same weights three times also.
Day 3 and we took the tests at the DMV. 1 no show this morning and 1 person left after they failed the test twice today. They get to retest on Thursday but I guess the person didn't want to. 5 people failed today and are going to retest tommorow. If they don't pass on Thursday, they are done and sent home. Yes, I passed only missing 2 total questions on the whole test. A few more days of classroom and I can actually get behind the wheel and start practicing. One thing to mention here. They go up into the mountains to practice going up and down grades. I'm a little nervous about this as I am sure most in the class are.

Thanks. I was so happy to be done with at least one test and pass it. I finally get a night where I don't have to study anything. I really feel for the people that didn't pass today. They have one more chance and that's all. It would really be a shame for some of the people to have to go back home and not make it in.

 

Jess, it won't let me reply to your PM because I don't have 50 posts yet. It sounds like a good idea to me. Does he have to notify someone at Central about this or do I?
