Why are my tires wearing out like this

    Yeah i like ride quality and they're dirt cheap to replace as a maintenance item. I've also gotten crazy miles out of my tires using this practice besides the excellent ride.

    Roads play a factor in this also, the northeast can kill them faster than 80k ...

    Regardless... At 150k+ there not dampening anything at that point. Just because they're not leaking oil doesn't mean they're still working.

    The southeast isn't nearly as bad on shocks...

    Even so.. it's very noticeable going over the bridges in Richmond VA with some 80k mile shocks vs new. Far more settled, less bouncing with the fresh set installed. I've gotten pretty fast at changing them can do it in about 45 minutes every 6 months.

    I've also found the new monroe gas shocks seem to last much longer than in the past. I am a huge OEM Sachs guy but the pricepoint vs life isn't what it used to be.

    Have you contacted Mike Beckett from MD Alignment? He will definitely give you the correct cause of this problem, and I'll guarantee it won't be alignment or shocks...

    Well guys, I got all new monroe shocks on back (4) , tire rotation, and other things that needed to be done - all new oem brake drums and brake shoes on the back all 4 of them , and my heater core was leaking replaced those, hit the bank with a 2200 bill, will get a alignment soon, will keep you guys updated, on what happens and if it worked out
