    Hi,

I just want to open new truck company as independent owner operator
but no one company can give me the quote because I do not have an experience
    (just got AZ licence).

Can anybody help me to find an insurance.

    Thanks!

As a new inexperienced driver I highly doubt anyone will insure you.

Try BC. Seems like they let anybody and everybody start a trucking company and get insurance. Experience, citizenship, lack of official languages be ######..

In ON you need 3 years of Owner Operator Experience just to have a chance of getting insurance, without it no chance at all.

You have to pay off the ICBC Criminals first for that

I hope you will find insurance. Somebody has to do those 1.3$ per mile loads

rent an office in rural Saskatchewan and licence and insure for at least 3 years. Get a business cellphone in Saskatchewan and forward to your Ontario office.

It seems the rules changed in the last year or so. I just got off the phone with an insurance broker and he told me this. Even with 25 year plus experience, excellent driving record etc.. a driver needs a year experience with their own truck. Remember, I once was a Owner Operator back over 22 years ago and was able to obtain insurance with my truck then. I assume now things have become more difficult because so much have applied and caused havoc on the highways & roads. Considering the times were in I'm not upset because some with their own Authority are pausing because of load board brokers double dipping under paying for loads. Tough times ahead.

Classic Catch-22 situation - needs a year with their own truck to get insurance, but can't run a truck for a year without insurance......just how in the hell is an owner-op supposed to GET insurance (which will be grossly overpriced, of course.....)??
