Showering at Shippers/Receivers

    I agree, I'm just glad some places have a rest room. I know before I go to IMTT in bayonne to make sure I use the restroom before entering. Once in there they don't have any restrooms for the drivers no matter how long you are there.

    I used to work at a place in New Jersey that had a shower room. It wasn't very clean but it was there anyway. Had to buy my own showerhead and take it with me because they would always get stolen. Like gettin peed on by an elephant without one...

    Used to pick up drums of oil at a refinery in Portland Oregon. A older place. Upstairs they had the best showers ever that no one used anymore. Man when I bumped that dock I bee-lined it for those showers. Free soap and never ran out of hot water. I come out of them red and wrinkly. The people that worked on those docks were/are the best. Amazing what a well managed facility is like. Oh yeah...I made darn sure all the facilities were spotless and ship shape before I left. And thanked them profusely.
