I'll get it this weekend. I haven't spoken to him for a month or so; as he wants me to move down to San Jose. I made a commitment to do so, but, didn't follow through (this is on a whole other note). So, uncomfortable, or not, I need to call him (mainly, because he's a good friend and wants to see me back at work) and follow through on my offer to get the info on NALCO.

Well, like I said previously, I've only had about 2 yrs tanker experience and all of that was with smooth-bore tankers. On occasion I hauled tankers with two compartments. When I look at those fuel haulers at gas stations I find all those gauges and controls a little intimidating.mje Thanks this.

I would have to agree with Madjack17, he works for me at Gemini. I have been with Gemini for four years, three of them driving and the last year terminal manager. They treat their drivers like crap and like to write them up and take all bonuses away for anything, trust me they make me write them up for minor stupid crap. if i refuse to do so them i am taking the side of the driver and they really frown on that. They do have good benifits and home everyday. many of my our drivers make between $50,000 to $70,000 per year which is good if you can put up with their crap. I have a really hard time hiring drivers and putting on a show telling them how great the company is when it really sucks. They have a code of conduct that they follow which basically goes over everything they expect out of you, if you do not adhere to it the will terminate you.to tell you how many rules they have it takes me twenty minutes just to read it at the safety meetings. Pretty bad when the Manager is wanting to leave but i cant stand the way they want me to treat my drivers. for everyone looking for a local tanker job go for it they really do make good money, i have been with four of them and always made no less than $55,000 per year and always got payed by the load. Only downside is dealing with local traffic on a daily basis which gets very old.Redwolf, mje and LadyDallasDriver Thank this.

I worked for Energy for two years and was a lead driver on my shift. decent company and i think they finally raised their load pays in DFW finally. Only reason i left is because i could not get along with the Regional Manager at the time and they have since fired him.mje Thanks this.

I will read some of these posts again, but I am looking at Energy Dispatch????????
I am 54. Will fuel hauling kill me?

That might explain why I've seen them advertise twice in the last 6 months at my local Love's (S. Illinois).
I was going to put an app in since I have two years, but the latest sign says they want three years experience now.mje Thanks this. -
