Do you think the centramatics are worth the money on steer tires? I'm new to owning my own rig and about to replace the steer tires and was thinking about putting the centramatics on as well. Anyone have an opinion on them? Thanks!

All I've ever heard was good things about them! I've got an uncle who has them all the way around his truck, he said they made a big difference.

Yeah that's what I hear pretty much from everyone, just a few said they didn't work. I'm getting some XZA3 michelins and going to get them as well I think. I run a dedicated route so I don't get to to many different places but is $170 a good price on them or anyone know where I can get some cheaper?

I'm still putting everything together for my operation but they are definately on my list. I don't have experience directly with the centramatics but have used similar devise for determining balance point for driveshafts.

I love mine. I wouldn't have a truck without them.

I like mine alot. You just want to make sure that everything in your front end os in good working order. My Cousin pulled some off a guys truck, he said they were garbage and made his truck shimmy like crazy. Turns out he had a failing kingpin on one side. Just a little something to look out for. I have deffinatly noticed some huge improvements in my steers wearing alot more evenly.

Worth the $$$, just make sure to get all the weights off the rim when you put them on. If you miss a weight you will know it.

Truck-mounted wheel balancing device ... Google the name.

I had my wheels balanced and run the Centramatics no problem.

Just make sure they're not installed wrong (yeah, I know, I didn't think it was possible either :biggrin_2554: )
