    I live In the Birmingham Area, and the reason this came into effect, is because several years ago, on I20/59, several truckers lost their loads on the interstate causing a huge amount of damage. Its tough enough driving through Birmingham without having metal coils coming unheaved from flatbed trucks. Luckily, the damage was llimited to just the interstate (could have been a lot worst).

    The problem is the lack of common sense which btw, can't be taught nor regulated....
    It's unfortunate we have morons who are allowed to drive..........
