Thanks jess-juju
Can't wait to get started. I'm studying for the written exam now.
Hey, do you think I should take the written test before going to SLC? Also, do you know if Central will reimburse part of the cost of a plain ticket. Not really looking forward to riding Greyhound from Phoenix to SLC! -
I would just do the written test with the rest of the class!
They will reimburse part of the cost whatever the bus ticket would have cost.
Good luck with it EBG! -
EBG123, I just did the math for my last year with Central and it came out to 2401 miles per week for the year.
I was a solo company driver governed at 67 mph. -
Any Tornadoes out your way Lastkidpicked?

Thanks for asking. One touched down in Westminster, which is about 8 miles from my farm. Another wiped out a mall in Aurora, near our Henderson Terminal. I was really hoping it would hit the Henderson terminal directly-- it could only improve the place!!
Again, I implore you to not judge the beautiful state of Colorado based on the dumpy old Henderson terminal. The rest of the state is quite nice. -
Thanks Lastkidpicked -
That's pretty encouraging considering all of the problems we've had with the economy. Next year can't be any worse than last, hopefully better. I can't wait to get out there! -
Well other than the weather being a little crazy the last couple weeks it's been pretty nice. Plus having twice the house for half the cost is nice here.
Ryan called this morning and sent over the pre-hire documents. Gonna go print those out and fax them over. Hoping to get in with the July 6th crowd. Only been at the gym for a week and on BP meds for 2 days and I'm almost down to passing numbers today!! Lowest it's been since I was in the Army. -
The little I see of Colorado from the Interstate I think is Beautiful!

Was just talking with Ryan at Central. He said not to worry about putting my Juvenile conviction for the criminal information. Anyone know if it's fine to just leave that off?
EDIT: Just talked with security department. As long as the juvenile is not a felony you don't have to put it on there.Last edited: Jun 17, 2009
