What state you been sitting 4 days in and what trailer do you pull?

 

LOL, Alaska, I try real hard to just work 4 days a week, but it just ain't working right now, but I am taking next week off.

 

Myself pulling for Brokers .

 

When I ran the lower 48, it was not unusual for me to set a few days even when ther was plenty of freight, waiting on one that I wanted.
My wife dod my dispatching, and she knew pretty much what and where I wanted to haul and go. I was in Salt lake city once, and after a day or so of pure junk loads showing up, I called and told her I was headed empty to vegas, do not look for a load for at least a week. lol

 

Where do you get your loads from? No reason to sit in Texas. There's a ton of freight there. Most of it doesn't pay very good but it's good enough to get out with if you got a good rate coming in. I live in Oklahoma and pull a dry van and I don't sit in this area unless I'm at home.

 

I'm in Tx and no way you sit that long.

 

You gotta remember that there’s a whole bunch of people in this industry that don’t have the first clue about how things work. He could be one of those people that thinks everything from anywhere should pay what he thinks he’s worth. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t work that way.

 

Then again, I have sat in Texas, if there is no profit in it, it stays there and I bounce .

 

Left the house two weeks ago, 3422, 3267, and will turn in 3300+ miles next week. I don’t see slow freight with the company I’m leased on with.
