    It doesnt seem to matter what I cook him...He always falls asleep within a hour or so from eating

    It really depends on the food. Some of it has a melatonin or something like that in it. Turkey I think does.

    Cant tell you my secrets in the kitchen....But I will say this, if I want something done that evening dinner runs late so he gets it done before I put the food on the table

    6,7, and 8 get my vote. Sugars before bed doesn't work for me, since I won't burn it off sleeping, and that's what I'll use in the day for energy.
    Turkey and milk both have tryptophan, which promotes sleep. Cottage cheese is a favorite, with a few carbs.
