What I used to do years ago was that adopted the way taxi's handled tolls.
Tolls were charged above the regular rate, and had to paid in advance.
Sure a lot of people squawked, but when I said that it was the same way taxi's charged, a surprising amount went along with it, if they didn't, then they didn't my need my truck that bad.
