White House reviews stopping-distance rule

How about mandating minimum distances in which four wheelers can move back in front of us? You can keep making better brake technology, but you still can't change the laws of physics. There's a reason trucks don't stop within 200 feet from 55 mph.

 

yea really, all that money they spent on signs and billboards and they don't even enforce it

Ohio is such a state. You can actually get a ticket for pulling over too closely in front of a rig.

I'm not sure how vigorously it is enforced though.

 

only thing i recall seeing ohio enforce with a passion was the FMSCA regulations.they seem to have invested alot of money into that.

 

they got me with the bear in the air doing 66 during the safety blitz.
the (hot blonde) trooper gave me a WARNING.
